Munchin on a Tuesday afternoon

This week's Diva Challenge  was to use Munchin  on a black tile as demonstrated recently by Molly Hollibaugh for Sakura on a YouTube  video. Well, like many others, black tiles are not my favorite but I do like working on them better than the Renaissance  tiles... although I love the look of the Renaissance tiles... I digress... so without further delay - here is my Munchin! With some Crescent Moon and Ahh! In the YouTube video, Molly referenced the stars or galaxy or something astrological and it stuck.

  1. Great work, I love the Aha with it, and those slices into the Munchin are very clever.

    1. Yes, the slices are fun... glad Molly shared that since it will open up a lot of fun variations on black tiles!

  4. Very nice, especially with the addition of Ahh. I didn't like the Renaissance tiles for a long time. I thought they were too delicate. However, they have now become a favorite since I do have to really slow down and be very careful with shading. So, don't give up on them :)

    1. I have been doing tints on tan and love the look sooo much that I shall not give up! Also, I'm learning to be even lighter with the pens which really is helping with both tan and black!

  8. Yes, very celestial and lovely with Crescent Moon and Ahhh. This creates a very peaceful look.

Darn it, I wish I hadn't been so literal with my tile--wish I had understood we could add other tangles if we wanted. Really like your combination here.

  10. Love the combination of tangles that you accented your Munchin with. The way you did your Crescent Moon really added a punch to the tile. Nicely done!
