Beads of Courage

The Diva Challenge this week (challenge  #221)... if you have never heard of Beads of Courage (I hadn't), check out Divas blog and be totally humbled by the stories of children with chronic or life threatening illnesses. In Canada there is a   program that gives the children a  bead for procedures, etc. These beads are worn like a badge of courage.  My Zentangle is Mak-Rah-Mee with ring/beads. I guess it just represents that we are all connected.  I didn't do any shading at all... I wonder if I will go back and do that? Probably not. But I did use the glitter pen that Sakura gave us! (CZT 18)

  2. Always a pity that the glitter pens don't show on a scan. But ... your tile is different and beautiful.

  3. I like how all the ends of your Makramee are so curly, and the shape and color of all the beads provides not only balance, but also unifies the piece. Nice work!
